Allnigeriasoccer.com understands that Super Eagles striker Isaac Success and Nollywood's black beauty Caroline Areoghene Igben tied the knot in a very private ceremony in Warri, South-South Nigeria on Saturday, June 8, a day after the Super Eagles were forced to a 1-1 draw by South Africa in a 2026 World Cup qualifier.
Success wanted the marriage to be a low-key affair, so the Udinese star invited only a few close friends from his inner circle to attend the event.
In attendance at the ceremony were 2013 Africa Cup of Nations winning-central defender Azubuike Egwuekwe and former Nigeria U23 captain Erhun Obanor.
Afrobeats musicians Victor Adere and Duncan Mighty did a fantastic job entertaining the newlyweds and their guests at the reception, which took place at Wetland Hotel in Warri, just a 15-minute drive from Caroline Igben's family home in Orhuwhorun Town, Udu Local Government Area of Delta State.
Success and Caroline hit it off immediately after being introduced by a mutual friend, Obanor.
The 2013 U17 Africa Cup of Nations Golden Boot winner is currently in Warri but will depart for his base in Benin City within the next few hours, accompanied by his beautiful wife.
Success has not played for the Super Eagles since November 20, 2018 when he replaced Victor Osimhen in the 46th minute of a goalless draw against Uganda.
