Super Eagles to train at Felix Houphouet Boigny Stadium 1600 hours on Sunday, Rohr focused on game

According to a press release from the Beninese Football Federation, the Super Eagles are expected to arrive in Ivory Coast by Sunday for the 2026 World Cup qualifier between Benin and Nigeria, which corresponds to the fourth round of Group C matches.
Finidi, accompanied by a player of his choice, will attend a pre-match press conference at 3.30 p.m and thirty minutes later, the Super Eagles will have a feel of the Stade Félix Houphouët-Boigny in Abidjan.
As is the norm, the first fifteen minutes of Nigeria's training session will be open to the media, after which it will continue behind closed doors.
The Cheetahs will hold their press conference at 4:30 p.m., followed by their training session at 5:00 p.m., which will also be open to the press for the first 15 minutes.
Nigeria's next opponent, Benin are in confident mood ahead of Monday's game after a 1-0 win over Rwanda, who shocked South Africa 2-0 on matchday two to throw Group C wide open.
Gernot Rohr, who has a score to settle with Nigeria after his acrimonious departure from the Super Eagles a month before the 2021 Africa Cup of Nations, revealed that the Cheetahs are focused on the crucial match with the three-time African champions.
He told reporters: "Now we are preparing for Monday's match. I would like to take this opportunity to thank all the Beninese who came.
"I know there are quite a few in the country here in Abidjan, but also the Ivorian hospitality that we have really appreciated so far."
Lesotho are topping Group C of the 2026 World Cup qualifiers with five points, while Benin, Rwanda and South Africa each have four points, and the Super Eagles are in fifth place with three points.
