Pictured: Pretty sister of Real Madrid star in attendance as Sporting Lagos thrash Remo Stars in derby
Published: March 10, 2024Austrian-born Nigerian singer Rose May Alaba was among the spectators at the Onikan Stadium as Sporting Lagos thrashed Remo Stars 4-1 in a Southwest Nigeria Premier Football League derby on Sunday.
In case her name does not ring a bell, Rose is the pretty sister of popular Real Madrid defender David Alaba.
Music runs in Rose's veins as her father, George Alaba used to be a rapper and he experienced some success during the late 1990s while being one half of the pop-dance duo Two in One.
Rose took to social media on Sunday to announce that she watched the Nigeria Premier Football League encounter in Lagos.
Junior Lokosa, a striker named in Nigeria's 30-man provisional 2018 World Cup squad, opened the scoring in the fourth minute when he converted a spot kick after Odibo was illegally brought down by a Remo Stars defender.
Paschal doubled the advantage in the 27th minute but the deficit was halved in the 37th minute when the hosts diverted a cross by Sodiq Ismail into their own net.
Two minutes into the second half, Phillip Kehinde restored Sporting Lagos' two-goal lead with a spectacular acrobatic goal against his former team.
On the hour mark, a goalmouth scramble saw Isaac's cross turned into the Remo Stars goal.
