2023 Flying Eagles invitee Ola-Adebomi scores first senior goal for Burton Albion
Published: March 10, 2024
2023 Flying Eagles invitee Ademola Ola-Adebomi netted his first senior goal as Burton Albion were beaten 3-1 by Peterborough United in a League One match at the Pirelli Stadium on Saturday evening.
This season, the 20-year-old received four call-ups for first team games at Crystal Palace but was not utilized off the bench by Roy Hodgson.
Ola-Adebomi joined the Brewers on loan in the January transfer window in search of first team football.
After Ricky-Jade Jones' header broke the deadlock in the 56th minute, the Crystal Palace loanee restored parity for his team fourteen minutes later when he stabbed home from close range
The 20-year-old initially started on the bench before entering the game as a substitute to replace John Brayford at minute 63.
Ola-Adebomi had scored against Football League opposition prior to his first senior goal for Burton Albion.
He got on the scoresheet against Stevenage in the EFL Trophy back in November while wearing the colours of Crystal Palace U21s.
Overall, Ola-Adebomi has played in eight matches since his loan move to Burton Albion, registering two goal involvements in 545 minutes of game time.
