Confirmed: Two young players join Southampton after leaving Chelsea

Through their official website, Championship club Southampton have announced their new intake of academy scholars for the 2023-2024 season, subject to FA and EFL approval.
Southampton have informed that two of the new additions, Abdulhalim Okonola-Matthews and Moses Sesay,have both made the switch to the Saints after leaving Chelsea.
Okonola-Matthews, who is eligible to represent Nigeria's national teams, and Sesay have cited former Manchester United midfielder Paul Pogba as the player they model their game after.
Okonola-Matthews, Sesay and thirteen other first year scholars will make the step up to Southampton's U18 squad next season having previously played U16 football.
Sesay has already made his competitive debut for Southampton U18s, playing the last fifteen minutes of a 1-1 draw with Brighton & Hove in an U18 Premier League fixture in November 2022.
Completing the 15-strong group of youngsters are: Tevin Myers, Sufianu Sillah Dibaga, Henry Upstell, Jay Robinson, Tommy Dobson-Ventura, Nicholas Oyekunle, Josh Pitts, Aston Daley, Max Fry, Barnaby Williams, James Martin, Ben Sheaf and Jayden Moore
Ten of the first year scholars are products of the Southampton academy, including Golden Eaglets-eligible striker Oyekunle.
