EFL Cup wrap : Two Super Eagles stars assist, two Sheffield Wednesday midfielders score

Allnigeriasoccer.com takes a look at the Nigeria-eligible players who were had goal contributions for their respective clubs in the second round of the Carabao Cup.
Former Flying Eagles invitee, Fisayo Dele-Bashiru continued his impressive start to the season as he found the back of the net in Sheffield Wednesday's 3-0 win over Rochdale.
The 21-year-old midfielder went on to set up two goals in the one legged encounter.
Meanwhile Sheffield Wednesday's Dennis Adeniran also scored in the 3-0 victory. The midfielder who just won the award for the best goal scored in the first round of the 2022/2023 EFL Carabao Cup scored the Owls' third goal of the night.
In another game, Super Eagles striker Emmanuel Dennis made his debut for Premier League newsboys, Nottingham Forest in their 3-0 win over Grimsby Town.
He went on to assist Ryan Yates to open scoring in the 18th minute.
Elsewhere, Super Eagles midfielder Alex Iwobi bagged a game-winning assist for Everton in a hard-fought 1-0 win over Fleetwood Town at Highbury Stadium.
Demarai Gray scored what proved to be the winning goal after the ball was worked into his path by his Nigerian teammate in the 28th minute.
