Which Super Eagles players are at the level needed to do a job for Arsenal?

The transfer window is rumbling on and clubs around the world are already committing to deals that would strengthen their squads ahead of the new season.

The Premier League especially has seen the arrival of huge players like Erling Braut Haaland, and Darwin Nunez among others.

Arsenal are amongst the clubs that are on the hunt for players to strengthen their squad with the club reportedly interested in a deal for Olympique Lyon's Lucas Paqueta and Ajax's Lisandro Martinez.

However, with the exodus of players who may be leaving the Emirates Stadium like Ainsley Maitland Niles, Hector Bellerin, Bernd Leno, and Lucas Torreira among others, allnigeriasoccer.com takes a look at Super Eagles players who are already at a level needed to do a job for Arsenal next season.

Wilfred Ndidi

The Leicester City player has been one of the best defensive midfielders the Premier League has to offer in recent years. With Thomas Partey needing adequate cover/competition, Ndidi is good enough to do a job for the Gunners.

His ability to play as a single pivot as well as a double will also bring another dimension to Mikel Arteta's team.

Samuel Chukwueze

With Ivorian winger Nicolas Pepe not performing up to expectations at the Emirates Stadium, the Gunners are trying to get cover/competition for Bukayo Saka having cooled interest in their attempt to sign Brazilian winger Raphinha from Leeds United.

However, as a depth and competitive option, Villarreal winger Samuel Chukwueze is quite capable of doing a job for the Gunners.

Calvin Bassey

Mikel Arteta loves versatile players. One of his current targets Lisandro Martinez is a highly versatile player who can play as a centre-back and a left-back.

Kieran Tierney needs cover as Nuno Tavares has not been convincing. Enter, Calvin Bassey, a player who is currently waging tongues with his outstanding performances.

As cover for Kieran Tierney and Gabriel Magalhaes, Bassey is a solid option.

Victor Osimhen

The Napoli hitman is far ahead in his development as a modern-day striker. His attributes are also fitting for Mikel Arteta's 4-3-3 formation.

However, Arsenal have already signed Gabriel Jesus and renewed Eddie Nketiah's contract which means it is highly unlikely that they make a move for Osimhen.

Despite this and Osimhen's value being overpriced at 100 million Euros, he would no doubt do a job for the Gunners if signed.

The above-named players may not be Arsenal's first options for a transfer but they certainly are at a level where they have the quality to do a job for the Gunners.
