Gernot Rohr has suggested that Leicester City star Wilfred Ndidi is at maximum fitness level before the upcoming 2022 World Cup qualifier against Liberia.
The defensive midfielder missed the internationals in October due to a hamstring issue that kept him out of action for five weeks.
Ndidi has recovered in time to be in contention to add to his international
caps after making his comeback against Spartak Moscow in the Europa
League on November 4 before going the distance vs Leeds United last
weekend.
Everton ace Alex Iwobi and Villarreal winger Samuel Chukwueze are also available for selection against the Lone Stars after recovering from injuries that saw them miss the double-header against Central African Republic.
"All these injured players who couldn't come in the last matches are here, Ndidi is here, Iwobi is back, Chukwueze is here, Sanusi is back so I think now we have a squad which is able to go for a victory," Rohr said at Thursday's pre-match press conference.
He added : " He (Ndidi) is fully fit, he made two training sessions already and all the players who didn't have so much game time like Chukwueze, he was out for a long time.
"The important players will be fit and everything should be okay."

Ndidi has been involved in only one match in the 2022 World Cup
qualifiers, the opening day win against Liberia in Lagos, where he went
the distance.
