Nigeria-eligible striker Shola Shoretire has been nominated for Manchester United's Goal of the Month award for October 2021, informs the official website of the Red Devils.
The England U19 international is among ten players in the running for the monthly accolade.
In his bid to win the prize, Shoretire faces competition from Cristiano Ronaldo, Marcus Rashford and Zidane Iqbal who have been double nominated, Sam Murray, Anthony Martial, Ella Toone, Anthony Elanga, Mason Greenwood and Edinson Cavani.
The Anglo-Nigerian has been nominated for his effort in a Premier League 2 clash against Blackburn Rovers at Leigh Sports Village on October 16.
Just six minutes into the contest, Shoretire finished off a flowing U23s team move to open the scoring as United thrashed the visitors from Lancashire 3-0.
His other goal last month was against Liverpool in another 3-0 victory in the Premier League 2.
Shoretire was on U19s duty for Manchester United in the UEFA Youth League on Tuesday, helping them register a 2-1 away win against Atalanta.
