Team of the Week honours for CSKA Moscow's Ejuke, Bournemouth's Billing
Published: October 04, 2021CSKA Moscow winger Chidera Ejuke and Bournemouth midfielder Philip Billing have been included in Whoscored.com's Russian Premier League and Championship Team of the Week respectively on the back of their outstanding performances in league matches this past weekend.
Ejuke shook off a leg injury to help the Muscovites take a point from their meeting with Krasnodar at the VEB Arena.
Over the course of ninety minutes, the Super Eagle accumulated a team-high four shots, made two key passes, completed a game-high four take-ons, won a foul for his team, while completing 73.5 percent of his passes.
With a rating of 7.8, Ejuke was deployed as the left-sided midfielder in the Russian Premier League Team of the Week.
One-cap Denmark international of Nigerian descent Billing continued his fine form by scoring Bournemouth's game-winning goal against Sheffield United at the Vitality Stadium, taking his tally to six in all competitions in the process.
In 85 minutes of action, the central midfielder registered three shots on target, made two tackles, one interception and one clearance, while completing 78.6 percent of his passes.
Billing partnered with Nottingham Forest's Zinckernagel in central midfield in the Championship Team of the Week.
