Chelsea-owned midfielder Anjorin equals career high market value of N1.6billion
Chelsea-owned midfielder Faustino Anjorin has reached the joint highest market value in his career following his loan move to Russian Premier League side Lokomotiv Moscow.

On Wednesday, September 15, transfermarkt updated the market values of footballers plying their trade in Russia and the England youth international is now worth 2.5 million euros (approximately N1.6billion in Nigerian currency).

This month, Anjorin moved to The Railwaymen on loan with an option to buy set at €20 million included in the deal.

The 19-year-old was first valued at 2.5 million euros on September 25, 2019, same date he made his professional debut for parent club Chelsea.

He was rated at €2.3 million prior to today's update so he has gained 200,000 euros.

Anjorin is the 13th most expensive player currently on the books of Lokomotiv Moscow, 261st among all players classed as attacking midfielders, 92nd when it comes to footballers plying their trade in the Russian Premier League, and is the 117th most expensive 2001-born player in the world.

Regarded as one of the most talented youngsters produced by Chelsea's academy in recent years, he has already made his competitive debut for Lokomotiv Moscow and is in contention to feature in Thursday's Europa League clash versus Marseille.
