Spartak coach takes Victor Moses to Austria training camp ahead of confirmation of Chelsea exit
Published: June 25, 2021New Spartak Moscow coach Rui Vitoria has included Chelsea-owned wing-back Victor Moses on his roster for the team's training's camp in Austria.
The former Nigeria international was among the eleven midfielders listed on the 25-player squad list that flew to Klagenfurt from the Sheremetyevo International Airport on Friday morning.
As everyone is aware, Moses is set to end a nine-year affiliation with Chelsea in the coming days and and only an official confirmation is left as Spartak Moscow have activated the mandatory purchase clause inserted into the deal bringing him to the Russian capital following their qualification for next season's Champions League.
Spartak Moscow can only register the 2013 Africa Cup of Nations winner for the new season as from Monday June 28th when the Russian transfer window officially opens for business.
Moses and his teammates will prepare for the new season in the Austrian city of Villach until July 5, 2021.
Friendlies have been lined up against Neftçi, Bravo and šibenik during their stay in Austria.
