Length of contract Chelsea winger Victor Moses agreed with Spartak Moscow revealed
Published: May 22, 2021Victor Moses's nine-year association with Chelsea is certainly coming to an end when the summer transfer window officially opens for business.
The former Nigeria international will be playing against the likes of CSKA Moscow, Lokomotiv Moscow, Rubin Kazan and Zenit St. Petersburg again next season as Spartak have activated the obligatory purchase clause inserted into the deal bringing the wing-back to The Red-Whites should they qualify for the Champions League.
Moses played a key role as the Muscovites finished second in the table, grabbing a late equaliser that earned his team a 2-2 draw against Akhmat Grozny on the final day of the season.
According to transfer market expert Nicolo Schira, Moses will sign a three-year contract with Spartak Moscow.
Spartak Moscow paid Chelsea a loan fee of 300,000 euros to sign the 30-year-old with the option to buy set at five million euros.
He took in loan spells at Liverpool, Stoke City, West Ham, Fenerbahce and Inter Milan following a lack of first team opportunities at Stamford Bridge.
Moses is departing Chelsea after scoring 18 goals in 128 appearances in all competitions.
