Published: March 19, 2021For the second time this season, Tottenham Hotspur's Anglo-Nigerian striker Kion Etete was on target against Manchester United in the Premier League 2 and his latest strike came this afternoon, helping the north London club to a 3-0 win at Hotspur Way.
As many as five players of Nigerian descent were named in the starting lineup, with Etete joined by Spurs teammates Tobi Omole and goalkeeper Joshua Oluwayemi, while Shola Shoretire and Dillon Hoogewerf were on parade for the Red Devils.
Jamie Bowden’s 27th-minute penalty separated the sides at the break, before Marcel Lavinier added a second in the 64th minute.
