Snapped : Shoretire involved in Manchester United final training session pre-Crystal Palace
Published: March 02, 2021Anglo-Nigerian youngster Shola Shoretire continues to train with Manchester United's first team as we approach the business end of the season.
Manchester United have published training pictures of their final workout at Aon Training Complex ahead of their trip to the English capital, where they face Crystal Palace in the Premier League on Wednesday night and it is confirmed that the England youth international took part in Tuesday's session.
Shoretire was conspicuously absent from Manchester United's matchday squad against Southampton B in the Premier League 2 last Saturday and was not in the 20 versus Chelsea in the Premier League the following day.
Touted as one of the brightest young players in the United academy, the 17-year-old has been promoted to the first team training bubble after proving his worth for the U23 team this season.
Aged 17 years and 19 days, he made his top-flight debut against Newcastle United on February 21, becoming the third youngest player to feature in the Premier League this season behind Antwoine Hackford (Sheffield United) and Dane Scarlett (Tottenham Hotspur).
If Shoretire continues to keep his feet on the ground and learn from the more experienced players around him, he could be handed more first team opportunities between now and May.
