Promising Striker Omilabu Reveals How He Re-signed For Crystal Palace After He Was Released
Promising striker of Nigerian descent David Omilabu has revealed how he re-signed for Crystal Palace after he was released by the London club.

The 18-year-old, this week, netted his first goal for the Eagles U23 team, scoring the game-winning goal in the 86th minute against Burnley at Selhurst Park after coming off the bench.

Omilabu is inching closer to a full promotion to Palace U23 side after top scoring for the U18s in 2020-2021.

"I signed [for Palace] when I was eight-years-old and then I got released when playing for the Under-12s," Omilabu said to Crystal Palace's official website.

"A year later I went on trial at Fulham. We played Crystal Palace and I scored a hat-trick against them.

"Then my old coach said he wanted me back, so the following week I went back to Palace and got signed there."

Omilabu has scored ten goals in eleven appearances for Crystal Palace in the U18 Premier League this season.
