Super Eagles Captain Ahmed Musa's Proposed Move To West Brom Is Off

Allnigeriasoccer.com can exclusively report that Ahmed Musa's proposed transfer to English Premier League strugglers West Brom is off.

The Nigeria captain passed a fitness test under the supervision of the Baggies sports science and performance team at the training center in Walsall last Thursday, which would have paved the way for the striker to sign a short-term contract with the club, all things being equal.

West Brom have a limited transfer budget and the owners have refused to dip into their pockets to fund the signing of Musa, thereby throwing a spanner in the works.

The representatives of the former CSKA Moscow star gave a deadline to West Brom to complete the transfer of Musa and it has now expired, so both parties have pulled the plug on the deal.

The 28-year-old is exploring other options before making a decision on his next career move.

Musa has been on the lookout for a new club since he mutually terminated his lucrative contract with Saudi Arabian Pro League side Al-Nassr last October.
