'Ndidi Should Be Available' - Leicester City Coach Expects Key Midfielder To Be Fit Vs Wolves
Published: February 03, 2021Speaking after his side defeated Fulham 2-0 at Craven Cottage, Leicester City manager Brendan Rodgers provided a positive update on two of his key players who sat out this evening's fixture.
Nigeria international Wilfred Ndidi and ex-England striker Jamie Vardy have not figured for the Foxes in their last two games due to a hamstring and groin issue respectively.
Rodgers is hopeful that Ndidi and Vardy will receive the thumbs-up from Leicester City's medical team and be included in the traveling party to the Molineux Stadium, where they tackle Wolverhampton Wanderers in the Premier League on Sunday, February 7.
"They (Ndidi and Vardy) should be available for the weekend, so it’s great news for us. They’ve responded really well," Rodgers said to LCFC TV.
"We’ll see how they are over the next couple of days and they’ll hopefully be back in the squad and available for the weekend."

Ndidi has started ten of his eleven appearances in the Premier League this term, scoring once in a 2-0 win over Chelsea last month.
