Former Chelsea Striker Afolayan Marks West Ham Debut With A Goal In Win Vs Doncaster Rovers
West Ham United are into the last sixteen of the Emirates FA Cup following a comprehensive 4-0 win over League One side Doncaster Rovers at the London Stadium on Saturday evening.

One-time Nigeria Football Federation Fejiri Okenabirhie started and was in action for ninety minutes for the visitors.

There was never really an inkling of an upset from the moment that Pablo Fornals scored West Ham's opening goal in just the second minute, Andriy Yarmolenko  added a second on 32 minutes before an own goal from Andy Butler eight minutes into the second half put the result beyond doubt.

With the outcome of the game all but decided, manager David Moyes brought on Nigerian striker Dapo Afolayan for his West Ham debut with 20 minutes left on the clock.

The former Chelsea schoolboy helped himself to his first goal in West Ham colours eight minutes after his introduction, tapping in a rebound from close range following Fredericks' saved effort.

And in doing so, Afolayan became the 96th West Ham player to score on his first team debut.

The 23-year-old did well when he came on, was lively and alert and was rewarded with a goal.

It is worthy of note that he played for an hour last night in West Ham's 2-1 loss to Tottenham Hotspur in the Premier League 2.
