'Bruno Fernandes Is A Top Player' - Iheanacho Names Portuguese Among 3 Man Utd Stars That Could Derail Leicester's UCL Hopes
Published: July 11, 2020In the race for the Champions League spots, Leicester City have dropped to fourth position in the table, with only one point separating them from fifth-placed Manchester United.
Since the restart, Brendan Rodgers side have garnered six points from a possible 15 while the Red Devils have dropped points in only one match - against Tottenham Hotspur last month.
The Leicester City frontman believes Manchester United stand in their way of qualifying for the UEFA Champions League for only the second time in their history, and has highlighted three of the top stars in Ole Gunnar Solskjaer's squad, including Portuguese sensation Bruno Fernandes, who has won back-to-back Premier League Player of the Month awards.
Speaking to Sky Sports on the battle for the European places and Manchester United's form, Iheanacho stated : "The race is on. Anyone can get into the top four, anyone can get into the top six.
"Bruno [Fernandes] is a top player. They've got Marcus Rashford and Paul Pogba back in the team now.
"They're flying. But that's not what we need to worry about. We just need to focus on our games."
With a game still to come against rivals Manchester United on the final day of the 2019-2020 season, Iheanacho and his Leicester City teammates are aware that victory against Bournemouth on Sunday is non-negotiable.
