Inter Milan Still Awaiting Green Light From Chelsea To Play Victor Moses In Europa League
Inter Milan are yet to receive the green light from Chelsea to play Nigerian wing-back Victor Moses in their remaining Europa League matches, according to reports.

The Daily Mail UK via Sky Sport Italia says the Black and Blues face losing the former Super Eagles star when they resume their campaign in the Europa League because Chelsea haven't given them permission to use the player beyond the end of the 2019-2020 Serie A season.

The original agreement between Inter Milan and Chelsea would have seen Moses remain in Italy until June 30 but his loan deal has been extended until August 1, the date they are due to face Atalanta in their final Serie A match.

Inter Milan CEO Beppe Marotta is hoping to strike an agreement with Chelsea which could involve the Nerazzurri paying additional compensation to the Premier League side.

The 2013 Africa Cup of Nations winner is believed to be in the plans of manager Antonio Conte for the Europa League, having started all their games in the competition since his arrival at the club.

Inter Milan are also working on a deal that would keep Chilean striker Alexis Sanchez at the club beyond the end of the Serie A season so he can feature in the Europa League, and are holding talks with his parent club Manchester United.

Moses won the Europa League with Chelsea in 2013, scoring four goals in the knockout stages.
