Aina Likely To Leave Chelsea After Ten Years, In Talks With Other Clubs
Published: June 12, 2020Allnigeriasoccer.com has been told that Nigerian fullback Jordan Aina is likely to bid farewell to Premier League side Chelsea in the coming weeks.
The former England U16 international, younger brother of Super Eagles star Ola Aina, comes off contract with The Blues at the end of this month and everything indicates that he will not be penning a new deal.
And to buttress that point, Jordan Aina's Nigerian agent, Emeka Obasi has already opened discussions with a number of clubs over a move in the upcoming transfer window.
Prior to the coronavirus pandemic, the versatile fullback was granted permission to train with Swansea City and took part in a Premier League 2 Division 2 fixture against Newcastle United.
The 2001-born player officially joined Chelsea at U9 level, rising through the ranks before making his debut in the U18 Premier League against Norwich City in November 2018.
Aina featured seven times for Chelsea's youth teams in all competitions during the 2019-2020 campaign, including his debut in the UEFA Youth League against Lille.
