Victor Moses May Join Inter Milan On Season-Long Loan If He Signs New Chelsea Contract
Published: May 06, 2020Victor Moses's future at Inter Milan remains covered in mist with roughly eight weeks before the initial loan agreement between Chelsea and their Italian counterparts runs out.
FCInterNews.it claims that Inter Milan have no plans to sign the former Nigeria international on a permanent basis in the summer.
A purchase clause set at 12 million euros was inserted into the deal taking Moses to the Nerazzurri in the January transfer window but the Milan based club are not obligated to buy him outright.
The coronavirus pandemic has a negative effect on the finances of clubs, so the ideal solution is for Inter to extend the loan of Moses for another season if they are interested in keeping hold of the Nigerian.
With the contract of the 2013 Africa Cup of Nations winner expiring in June 2021, Chelsea would agree to loan him out again only after extending his contract which is looking unlikely at this stage.
The 29-year-old has been involved in seven competitive games for Antonio Conte's team but has gone the distance in just one match - against PFK Ludogorets Razgrad in the Europa League.
