West Ham, Crystal Palace Are New Suitors For Super Eagles Young Star
Published: April 11, 2020Two Premier League clubs in the shape of West Ham and Crystal
Palace have joined the race for the signature of in demand Super Eagles
striker Josh Maja.
The online edition of The Sun UK is reporting that the two clubs are battle ready to slug it out with the potential suitors of the Bordeaux ace for his services this summer.
Maja 21, has seen his profile burgeon in the French top flight this season, having been involved in 11 goals (8 goals, 3 assists) from 24 games across all competitions.
Formerly with Sunderland in the United Kingdom, West Ham and Palace were reportedly interested in recruiting the Nigerian during his eventful stint at the Stadium of Light but their advances came to nought.
Scottish Premiership side Rangers are also exploring ways of snapping up Maja in the next transfer window, and the jostle could see Bordeaux hold out for at least 10 million pounds.
He is contracted with the Ligue 1 club until the end of the 2022-2023 campaign.
