Talented GK Okonkwo Earns Promotion At Arsenal; Saka Takes Part In U23 Photocall

Promising Nigerian goalkeeper Arthur Okonkwo has been promoted to the Gunners U23 team as he was photographed with the players and coaching staff.
Having said that, Okonkwo, who signed a professional contract with the North London club a year ago, remains eligible to feature for the U18 team in their league and cup games.
The 17-year-old glovesman, who is open to representing Nigeria, posted three shutouts in four appearances for Arsenal U23 team towards the end of last season.
Another Hale End Academy product, Bukayo Saka also took part in the Arsenal U23 photo shoot along with Okonkwo and five other players with Nigerian background in the shape of Joseph Olowu, Tobi Omole, James Olayinka, Flo Balogun and Tolaji Bola.
Saka played four competitive matches for Arsenal's first team last season and was involved in five matches during the pre-season, including their final friendly against Barcelona.
Scholars Ryan Alebiosu, Mazeed Ogungbo, Ovie Ejeheri, Miguel Azeez, Nathan Butler-Oyedeji and Daniel Oyegoke were pictured with the U18 team.
