Nigerian Midfielder Scores Brace As Chelsea Beat Swindon Town In EFL Trophy
England youth international of Nigerian descent, Faustino Anjorin delivered an impressive performance as Chelsea beat Swindon Town 3-2 in an EFL Trophy clash at the County Ground on Tuesday night.

While midfielder Anjorin and Tariq Uwakwe were named in the starting line-up, Jordan Aina was omitted from the match day squad.

Andy Myers' team team raced into a two-goal lead before Swindon Town drew level.

On 12 minutes Anjorin slotted home the rebound after Brown's effort was saved by goalkeeper McCormick and netted his second goal of the game four minutes later.

Goals from Daniel Ballard and Adam May in the 18th and 47th minute respectively put the hosts back on level terms before Charlie Brown scored what proved to be the winning goal on the hour mark.

Anjorin was replaced by Jack Wakely nine minutes into the second half and Uwakwe subbed out in the 84th minute.
