Ex-Manchester United Striker Ohio Confirms His Time With Manchester City Is Over
Published: July 16, 2019Former Manchester United youth-teamer Noah Ohio has confirmed he is leaving Premier League champions Manchester City.
The highly-rated striker rejected a contract extension with The Citizens as he sees greater opportunities for a first team breakthrough if he joins another club.
He appeared in seven matches for City in the U18 Premier League, scoring one goal against Stoke in April 2019.
Ohio has taken to his social media account to bid farewell to everyone associated with the club including his teammates and coaching staff.
In a statement posted on Twitter on Tuesday evening, Ohio said :''Sadly today is day I am leaving Manchester City after 4 phenomenal years of being here.
''I joined Manchester City four years ago and I have loved every single minute of it on and off the pitch sharing great memories with everyone at the club especially with my teammates and coaches.
''I want to thank everyone at Manchester City from the coaches to the medical team and to everyone for all their support that has been given to me over these past years because without the help and support Manchester City have given me I wouldn't (be) where I am today.
''So for all this I want to say a big thank you.''
