Arsenal Nigerian Youngsters Amaechi, Saka Could Have A Change Of Heart With This Latest Development
Arsenal's announcement that Freddie Ljunberg has been installed as the club's assistant first-team manager could have an effect on the future of Nigeria-eligible starlets on the books of the club.

Ljunberg who took charge of Arsenal reserves last term will be working with Unai Emery for the 2019/2020 season and the likes of Bukayo Saka and Xavier Amaechi who played under his tutelage could hugely benefit from the move.

Speaking to the club's website following the announcement, the Arsenal legend said, "I'm really excited by this opportunity to continue helping to develop and work with some of the great young players we have coming through in the first-team environment and to work alongside Unai and the coaching team to help Arsenal win trophies."

Amaechi has been linked with a switch to several top European clubs after the end of last season following his snub in the final of the Europa League while nothing much has been done to convince Saka of a place in the senior team in spite of been handed a couple of appearances there.

There is also an immensely talented goalkeeper Arthur Okonkwo who the Swede has always praised his potentials, and following the exit of Peter Cech from the club, the news of Ljunberg's promotion is even more better news for his progression.

Football London has also insinuated that the latest development would, no doubt, convince these ones of their relevance at Highbury and the prospect of earning more senior team opportunities next season.
