Chelsea Starlet Tomori Has A Talent Which Should Be Nurtured At Stamford Bridge Next Season
England U20 international Fikayo Tomori was arguably the best player out of many Chelsea youngsters, who were sent out on various loan deals before the season.

The defender was ever-present in Frank Lampard's Derby County side as he has featured in 54 games in all competitions, making him one of the most reliable defenders in the EFL Championship this season.

His strong partnership with 32-year-old defender Richard Keogh helped the Rams finish in the 6th position, and they are currently on the verge of promotion to the country's top division having qualified to the play-offs final.

It's no doubt that the 21-year-old centre-back has huge potentials that must be nurtured by Sarri in the upcoming season.

It's obvious that Chelsea manager Maurizio Sarri needs to add new faces to his team at the back of the pitch this summer, judging by the number of goals conceded during the recently concluded season.

Unfortunately, the West London club lost their appeal against a two-window transfer ban imposed on them by FIFA, hence, the former Napoli boss should look at the youngster's direction for reinforcement.

David Luiz, who recently signed a contract extension, could be overwhelmed by the stressful nature of the league in the middle of next season.

This is why Derby County's player of the season should remain at Stamford Bridge next season to provide quality competition for the Brazilian centre-back.
