Nigeria U20 Invitee Dubbed The Next Wilfried Zaha Offered New Contract By Everton
Published: May 14, 2019Allnigeriasoccer.com understands that Nigeria U20 invitee Korede Adedoyin has been offered a new contract by Premier League side Everton.
The winger's contract with the Toffees runs out on June 30, 2019 and the Merseyside club are looking to tie him down to a new deal but he has other options.
A few clubs are snooping because they know his contract runs out soon and could lure him with the promise of first-team football, which Everton have not guaranteed him.
Born in Lagos 18 years ago, the exciting winger has been on the books of Everton since the age of ten, and rose through the ranks before debuting for the U18 team in January 2017.
Adedoyin netted 11 goals in 17 appearances for Everton in the U18 Premier League in the recently concluded season and his best individual performance was notching a hat-trick vs Newcastle United in October.
Nigeria U20 boss Paul Aigbogun invited Adedoyin to train with the Flying Eagles this month after he was scouted in England.
He models his game after Crystal Palace star
Wilfried Zaha who played for England's youth teams before he was
convinced to represent Ivory Coast.
