U17 AFCON : Three Things We Noticed From Nigeria's 1-1 Draw Against Uganda

Nigeria on Saturday booked a place in Wednesday's semifinals of the CAF U-17 Africa Cup of Nations in Tanzania following their 1-1 draw against Uganda.
The result ultimately means the Golden Eaglets have qualified for the FIFA U-17 World Cup in Brazil.
Allnigeriasoccer.com's Izuchukwu Okosi outlines three things noted in the game.
1. Uganda's Physical Game
The young Cranes resorted to dirty tactics - fouling the Nigerian players in order to stem the threat of the Eaglets.
Ibraheem Jabaar and Wisdom Ubani were mostly fouled by the desperate Ugandans who knew that a win for Angola will stop their run.
2. Wasted Chances
The Golden Eaglets would have scored more goals than they did on Saturday just like in the matches against Tanzania and Angola but were guilty of missing gilt-edged chances.
Wisdom Ubani may have proven how dangerous he could be with dead ball situations but he had his worst game of the group stage with several chances squandered.
The technical crew could well do with scouting at least one more striker who is as prolific as Ubani ahead of the World Cup to create healthy competition between both goal scorers.
3. Oduko's Forays
Left back Ogaga Oduko had an average performance. He was great to watch joining the attack but he left yards of spaces for the nippy Ugandans to exploit.
As much as it's part of a left back's duties to provide crosses from the left side of the field, the defender must be reminded of his primary job which is to defend.
