The Question That Will Determine Faustino Anjorin's Fate At Chelsea Next Season
Published: April 09, 2019One of Chelsea's obvious problems all through this campaign is their inability to create many goalscoring opportunities.
Willian, who operates from the right flank, hasn't been in his best form for the Blues. The Brazilian has assisted just 13 goals from 48 matches.
Pedro, Hazard, and Jorginho aren't anywhere better than their teammate.
As for Higuain, the Italian star has performed below the expectations that accompanied his loan move to Stamford bridge in January.
Considering all of these, Chelsea fans are expecting to see new players in the team next season, but they mustn't forget the transfer ban imposed by FIFA.
As it stands, the Stamford Bridge outfit will only rely on some of their on-loan players, or some outstanding U23 youngsters who among them is Faustino Anjorin.
Anjorin has featured in only six games for the U23s due to a back injury and he is tipped to become the next star to break out of the West London academy after Hudson-Odoi made the leap.
However, there's an urgent question that must be answered by Maurizio Sarri as regards to Anjorin's future at Stamford Bridge.
Is Anjorin Ripe Enough For First-team Duties?
Ola Aina wasn't included in Sarri's plans for the season despite his consistent display during pre-season.
It took time and unhealthy comments from Chelsea fans before the former Napoli manager started giving Callum Hudson-Odoi the chance he truly deserves.
Irrespective of his goalscoring feat for the U18 and U23 teams, Anjorin will need to wait until Sarri provides an answer to this question to know what will be his next decision.
He could be loaned out of Stamford Bridge in the summer, if Sarri feels he's not ripe for a place in his team .
