Klopp Must Play His Role To Help Ejaria Return to Prominence at Anfield
Published: April 05, 2019Liverpool FC are made of well-established strikers and midfielders, including Mohamed Salah, Roberto Firmino, Sadio Mane, Naby Keita and Fabinho, hence it takes high level of commitment and determination from youngsters to make it at Anfield.
The Reds have many attack-minded youngsters who have been promoted from their academy but only few have broken into Jurgen Klopp's team.
Ovie Ejaria, Sheyi Ojo, and Ben Woodburn have made their respective debut appearance for the first team, but none of them currently play with the senior men.
Out of all the listed players, Ejaria deserves to be in Klopp's team due to his obvious qualities and composure with the ball at his feet.
He made his official debut for Liverpool in 2016 but was loaned out to Scottish side Rangers before the start of this season in order develop his game under the tutelage of Liverpool legend Steven Gerrard.
His stay in Scotland wasn't as successful as expected and his contract with Gerrard's team was abruptly terminated by Klopp who wasn't impressed with Ejaria's lack of regular action.
Klopp subsequently sent him on another loan to Championship side Reading where he is expected to stay till the end of this campaign.
Ejaria is a quality player who needs a stable career to return to his fine form, hence, Klopp has a role to play to for that to happen.
The German tactician could help the 21-year-old become a force to reckon with by including him in his plans for next season.
He should show some level of trust in the youngster's ability by giving him some minutes on the field of play as this will help him regain his confidence.
With confidence and assurance of Klopp's trust, Ejaria will go extra miles to ensure that he doesn't disappoint the manager nor the Anfield fans.
The former Golden Eaglets trainee has been loaned out to three clubs in just two seasons and that's having a negative impact on his growth.
