Troost-Ekong To Be Assessed Ahead Of Milan Clash Amidst Injury Fears
Udinese techical director, Daniele Pradé has revealed that Super Eagles defender, William Troost-Ekong did not come away unscathed in their game yesterday ahead of a very important date with AC Milan.

The 25-year-old who went the distance in Udinese's 2-0 victory over Genoa in the Italian Serie A has reportedly cropped an injury after complaining of pains in the abductor region.

Genoa's Christian Kouamé fouled the Nigerian in the 50th minute shortly before the hosts scored their second goal of the day.

While goals from his compatriot Stefano Okaka and Mandragora made the difference at the Dacia Arena, I Bianconeri might now be dealt the blow of missing the services of the Nigerian ahead of a crucial season run-in.

"Tuesday we go to San Siro with Sandro and Larsen disqualified," Pradé was quoted by the club's website.

"Ekong at the end of the game complained a little problem to the adductor. We are always in trouble, in the run-up, but I expect a lot from this end of the championship: a team that is hungry, heart in the field and the desire to overcome the obstacle."

This season, Troost-Ekong has started all topflight games for Udinese who sit 15th in the division and are set to face Milan, Empoli, Lazio and Roma respectively in their next four games.
