Red-hot Awoniyi Showing No Signs Of Slowing Down, Tallies Sixth League Goal
There is no stopping Liverpool loanee Taiwo Awoniyi at the moment as the youngster was on hand to salvage a point with yet another strike for Royal Excel Mouscron in their 1-1 draw with Standard Liege on Friday night.

The 21-year-old scored his fourth successive goal for his team at the Stade Maurice Dufrasne to cancel out Razvan Marin's effort for the opposition.

Seven minutes after his team fell behind, the Nigerian got on the end of a Selim Amallah's through ball to rattle high into the goal, giving Mexican goalkeeper Guillermo Ochoa very little chance of stopping it.

The former Flying Eagles man has now tallied six goals from just seven league games since his return to Mouscron and will now set his sights on equaling his best league goal return of nine which he set during his time with them in the 2017/2018 campaign.

Bernd Storck's side thus, remain 10th on the Belgian First Division A standings with 36 points from their 28 matches so far.
