Nigerian Goal-Machine Is Top Scoring Striker In England's Top Four Tiers For November
Published: December 08, 2018No player in England's top four divisions scored more league goals than Nigerian striker Tammy Abraham for the month of November, according to stats from thefinalball.com.
The Chelsea loanee netted six goals from four appearances in the EFL Championship last month and only yesterday, he was awarded the Player of the Month in the division.
The red hot striker is enjoying an excellent start to his career at Aston Villa and his four-game scoring streak in the second-tier came to an end in the 2-2 draw vs West Brom on Friday.
Elliot Lee (Luton Town) and Teemu Pukki (Norwich City) both scored five goals each for their respective teams to place second.
Eight players found the net four times in November : Nottingham Forest's Grabban, Ipswich Town's Sears, Sunderland's McGeady, Barnsley's Moore, Carlisle United's Devitt, Tranmere Rovers' Norwood, Mansfield Town's Walker, O'Shea.
Tammy Abraham spent last season on loan at demoted Swansea City and was at Bristol City for the entirety of the 2016-2017 campaign.
