Libya national team coach Adel Amrouche has admitted that the Mediterranean Knights will face difficulties in their upcoming 2019 Africa Cup of Nations double-header against the Super Eagles.
The Algerian football manager was pleased with the response of the invited players to the team's training camp in Tunis and is now waiting for the foreign-based professionals to link up with the squad ahead of their trip to Uyo on October 12.
''Everyone is committed, and everyone answered the call to gather at the camp for players who are not associated with official matches with their clubs, waiting for the rest," Amrouche said at a press conference on Saturday.
''God willing, we will satisfy the Libyan public in the next game despite the difficulty. As a coach, I am a person who is keen to accommodate all players.''
The Super Eagles are expected to begin training for their first competitive game against Libya as from Tuesday as the players have been instructed to report at the Ibom Hotel & Golf Resort in Uyo latest Monday, October 8.
Gernot Rohr's side have won only three international matches this year against Poland, Iceland and Seychelles from a possible nine.
