Rio Ave's Kelechi John Hopes To Celebrate 20th Birthday With Teammates

Portuguese-based Nigerian starlet Kelechi John has told allnigeriasoccer.com he could celebrate his 20th birthday with teammates today at his Portuguese Primeira Liga club Rio Ave.
The former Plateau United defender has been a mainstay in Rio Ave squad particularly in the Liga Revelacao in Portugal.
He went the distance in Campeonato Nacional matches against CD Feirense, Estoril, Belenenses and most recently in the 5-0 annihilation of Marítimo.
"I am very happy I am 20 today and that makes me a year older," Kelechi said.
" I might celebrate with my team-mates here at the Club house" he added.
Kelechi had only recently told allnigeriasoccer.com he had offers from two unnamed French clubs during the summer transfer window in Europe but told his agent he wanted to remain in Portugal to aid his development.
