Official: Two Nigerian Wonderkids Ink New Contracts With Tottenham Hotspur
Published: August 29, 2018Through their official website, Premier League side Tottenham Hotspur have informed that three highly-rated youngsters, including two Nigerians, have penned new contracts with the club.
The versatile defender Timothy Eyoma and central midfielder Luke Amos have committed their future to Spurs by penning a fresh three-year deal, tying them to the North London club until the summer of 2021.
Amos and Eyoma have been offered fresh terms after both impressed during pre-season training.
Former England U18 international Amos, 21, started all three of Tottenham's International Champions Cup games against Roma, Barcelona and AC Milan, before playing in a friendly against Girona.
England U17 World Cup winning defender Eyoma, made his full debut against Milan and also started the final pre-season friendly against Girona.
Amos, who previously spent time on loan at Southend United and Stevenage, made his Premier League debut when he came on for the last two minutes of Spurs' 2-1 win at Newcastle United, and was a non-playing substitute vs Manchester United on Monday, August 27.
