Though Arsenal Future Still Up In The Air, Iwobi Sparkling In Training
Published: July 25, 2018Alex Iwobi seems unperturbed by speculation linking him with an exit from Arsenal before the close of the summer transfer window, going by his performance during training on Tuesday.
The Hale End Academy product has been linked with permanent moves to teams in England and Italy and there's also talk he could sign a new deal in the coming weeks.
On Tuesday, the Arsenal squad continued their preparations for their first real test in pre-season, the International Champions Cup clash with Atlético Madrid at The National Stadium in Singpaore tomorrow afternoon, with Iwobi in attendance having joined the squad after he was granted an extended vacation due to his commitments with the Super Eagles in Russia.
Through their official Instagram account, Arsenal have uploaded a video of five of the best goals scored by the players during training on Tuesday and Iwobi's quality strike was included.
The Super Eagle produced some fancy footwork before slotting home with his left foot, and manager Unai Emery would have been impressed by the goal.
If Iwobi remains at the Emirates Stadium, he will almost certainly reach the milestone of 100 competitive appearances for Arsenal next month.
