Odemwingie Still Thinks He's Good Enough To Be In The Super Eagles, Off To Russia
Published: June 13, 2018Former Super Eagles World Cup star, Osaze Odewingie has posited that he is still good enough to represent the national team and will travel to meet his mum and support the country.
Osaze is of Russian roots, as he was born in Tashkent, Uzbek SSR which is under the now defunct Soviet Union to a Nigerian father and a Russian mother.
He is, however still of the opinion that he is good enough to represent the national team for which he made his debut in 2002, even though he would be at the competition in the Eurasian country now as a media worker while supporting Nigeria and a host of other countries.

Now 36, he turned out for Nigeria at the 2014 World Cup and became the oldest player to score for the Super Eagles in the mundial when he found the net against Bosnia aged 32 years, 11 months and 6 days.
