Rohr Gives Clues To Starting XI Vs England: How Team A & B Lined Up On Thursday
Published: June 01, 2018Super Eagles coach Gernot Rohr has hinted at resting almost half of the players that started Monday evening's friendly against Democratic Republic of Congo, if yesterday's training session is anything to go by.
After the warmup exercises, the outfield players participated in cone drills while Francis Uzoho, Ikechukwu Ezenwa and Daniel Akpeyi were being put through their paces by goalkeeper coaches Alloy Agu and Enrico Pionetti.
The final part of the session was a practice game between Team A and Team B.
Oghenekaro Etebo, Elderson Echiejile, Tyronne Ebuehi, Kelechi Iheanacho and Simeon Tochukwu Nwankwo played for the Team B during the workout at the Hive Stadium.
Ezenwa, Kenneth Omeruo, Chidozie Awaziem, Ahmed Musa, John Ogu and Mikel Agu completed the lineup for Team B that wore red bibs.
In the team wearing yellow bibs were : Francis Uzoho, Abdullahi Shehu, Leon Balogun, Troost-Ekong, Brian Idowu, Eddy Onazi, Joel Obi, Obi Mikel, Victor Moses, Alex Iwobi and Odion Ighalo.
Thursday's training session ended at approximately 1815 hours.
