Victor Moses Will Not Train With Super Eagles In Nigeria As Mikel Reports For Duty
Published: May 24, 2018Chelsea right wing-back Victor Moses will not train with the Super Eagles on Nigerian soil before the 2018 World Cup in Russia.
The Nigerian Football Federation have tweeted that the Blues number fifteen will join the team in London ahead of the friendly with England on June 2, meaning he will participate in at least two training sessions before they step out onto the Wembley Stadium pitch.
The cheering news is that Tianjin Teda midfielder John Obi Mikel has finally reported for international duty as well as Hapoel Beer Sheva's John Ogu, the Nigerian Federation have confirmed.
Meanwhile, coach Gernot Rohr and the rest of the team have invited members of the media to a parley at the Ibom Hotels and Golf Resort, Uyo starting from 1345 hours on Friday, May 25, 2018.
Thursday morning's training session at the Godswill Akpabio International Stadium lasted for about one hour and forty minutes.
The Super Eagles will also play Democratic Republic of Congo and Czech Republic in friendly matches before their trip to Russia on June 11, 2018.
