Super Eagles First Workout: Individual Training For Ndidi, Ebuehi With Group
Published: May 23, 2018Allnigeriasoccer.com understands that the Super Eagles players are currently having their first training session at the Godswill Akpabio International Stadium, Uyo.
Leicester City midfielder Wilfred Ndidi, who has not played competitively since April 28th due to a hamstring injury, jogged with the rest of his teammates at the start of the session, but left the group when they started ball work.
The Foxes number 25 had an individual session with the Super Eagles physiotherapist, afterwards, he jogged on his own.
Based on the recommendations from Leicester City's medical team, Ndidi is expected to begin full training as from this weekend and the date he has circled on his calendar for his comeback is June 9.
Benfica summer signing Tyronne Ebuehi has presumably passed a fitness test as the right-back did not show any signs of damage at the start of the workout and trained fully with the team.
The 22-year-old has not kicked a ball in a competitive game since April 14, 2018 due to a groin injury.
