Udeze Hails NFF For Eagles Flight Arrangements : We Boarded Commercial Plane 2002
Published: May 22, 2018Former Super Eagles defender Ifeanyi Udeze has heaped plaudits on the Nigeria Football Federation over their plans to secure a private aircraft that will airlift the country's national team to London for the June 2 international friendly against England at the Wembley Stadium and subsequently to the World Cup in Russia.
"You cannot play good football if you're not happy. That's why European clubs provide good comfort so that you play well and don't blame it on anybody when you're not performing but yourself.
"In 2002, we boarded normal commercial plane to the World Cup in Korea/Japan.
"Imagine private jet for the Super Eagles to London and then to Russia. No, Amaju I hail una. The NFF have done well," the onetime West Bromwich Albion of England left back further stated.
The Eagles dominated by home based players will play against Atletico Madrid at the Nest of Champions Uyo on Tuesday in a friendly game while the team will play against Congo DR on Monday next week, May 28.
However the Eagles side to make up of World Cup hopefuls and European based players will face England in a high profile pre-World Cup friendly at Wembley before a June 6 tie against Czech Republic.

The leadership of the NFF have implemented brilliant ideas in ensuring the team prepare adequately for the World Cup with the flight arrangement the latest step taken by the Amaju Pinnick led board.
"I commend the Nigeria Football Federation for this wonderful idea. They have done several things to ensure that the players perform well at the World Cup," Udeze told Brila FM on Monday.
