Oghenekaro Etebo Rejoins Las Palmas First Team Training Pre-Levante
Published: April 04, 2018Las Palmas welcomed Oghenekaro Etebo back to full training on Tuesday, April 3 after a spell on the sidelines.
Next week Wednesday will make it one month that the Nigeria international last featured for the Canary Islands team but there's finally light at the end of the tunnel for the versatile midfielder.
He suffered discomfort in the quadriceps muscle in Las Palmas's 2-0 loss to Villarreal which led to his substitution at half-time.
Etebo had insisted that he was fit enough to face Real Madrid this past weekend, however, manager Paco Jémez did not want to take any risk with more winnable games coming up.
The 22-year-old will train with his teammates on Wednesday and Thursday starting from noon, before the team's trip to Valencia, where they will face Levante on match day 31.
Meanwhile, Emmanuel Emenike still has to wait for his Las Palmas debut, having failed to recover from a knee injury.
