Leicester Boss Reveals Ndidi's Two Key Attributes Most Players Lack
Published: April 02, 2018Leicester City boss Claude Puel has admitted that the club will struggle to replace Wilfred Ndidi who faces at least a two-game ban following his dismissal last weekend at Brighton.
The Frenchman has mentioned two qualities possessed by the Nigeria international which most of the players in the squad are lacking.
Things were not going too well for Ndidi at the AMEX Stadium before he was sent off three minutes from time as he conceded a penalty for tripping Jose Izquierdo in the 77th minute and was yellow carded in the first half.
''He is like other important players for us. He recovers a lot of possession and he has improved in possession also,'' Puel was quoted as saying by Leicester Mercury.
''He prevents the opponents form hitting us on the counter attack and he has been a fantastic player for us since the beginning of the season.
''To lose Wilfred at this point of the season is harsh for us because we have not got a lot of players with the same attributes. We will find a solution collectively.''
Ndidi will miss important Premier League matches against Newcastle United and Burnley this month.
