Queens Park Rangers boss Ian Holloway reserved special praise for former Super Eagles invitee Eberechi Eze following his performance against Sunderland in the EFL Championship on Saturday afternoon.
Eze was the architect behind QPR's 1-0 win over the Black Cats, with the number 30 scoring a brilliant goal on his full league debut for the club he joined in August 2016.
''I always feel we’ve got a great chance when it’s 0-0 at half time – and then the red card gave us a lift,'' Holloway said to www.qpr.co.uk.
''Ebere has got some wonderful skills and he took his goal superbly. It was a lovely finish with his left foot.
''He showed that little bit of QPR stardust for us today. He finished the goal with a bit of a cigar on!''
Eze has made ten first-team appearances for Queens Park Rangers since he debuted for the Londoners in 2017, and scored five goals in 22 matches whilst on loan at Wycombe Wanderers in the first half of this season.
The 19-year-old previously played for the youth teams of Arsenal, Millwall and Fulham.
