Portsmouth Running The Rule Over Talented Chelsea Midfielder

Portsmouth News writes on its website that Pompey are running the rule over Chelsea midfielder Ruben Sammut, and the Scottish talent has spent a couple of days with the Blues at their Roko base as Kenny Jackett weighs up building a squad for next season.
The central midfielder could join Portsmouth as a free agent in the summer as his contract with the Premier League champions runs out on June 30, 2018.
Born in Maidstone, Sammut joined Chelsea at U8 level and rose through the ranks before he became a regular for the U23 team.
The 20-year-old has played international football for Scotland U16, U19 and U21 teams.
He won the FA Youth Cup and UEFA Youth League with Chelsea in the 2014-15 and 2015-16 seasons.
