Mikel, Ndidi, Iwobi, Iheanacho Gush Over Super Eagles World Cup Kit
Published: February 07, 2018Four key players expected to be named to the Nigeria roster for the 2018 World Cup in Russia have expressed happiness with the new Super Eagles kits which they will wear during the mundial.
The jerseys were unveiled at a ceremony in London attended by skipper Obi Mikel, Leicester City pair Wilfred Ndidi and Kelechi Iheanacho, and Arsenal's Alex Iwobi.
The home jersey is dark green with a neon logo, while the away kit is a neon and white retro design on the body, and dark green chevrons on a white background on the arms.
On the home jersey, Iheanacho said: ''Wow I love this one''.
And Iwobi agreed, saying : ''Yeah, I like this one, you know''.
Mike added : ''I can see the players going crazy over this one''.
Ndidi said: ''Oh, this is lovely'
On the away jersey, Ndidi said : ''It is nice, it is cultural, I just can't wait.''
The Super Eagles are expected to wear the jersey for the first time when they face Poland in a pre-World Cup friendly on March 23.
